WOOL BEING SPUN INTO SURFWEAR

Wool’s great to wear in winter, but it’s hardly surfwear.

Or is it?

A Central Coast textile business is proving it can be, spinning surfwear from Merino wool.

LincSpun is a Central Coast company taking yarn to another level creating a range called Vara.

The process is all about taking synthetic filaments and incorporating them into merino wool.

It creates yarns which can have various applications – the end result is a fabric that is light, breathable and durable and it is now being developed to take on a global market.
