GAVIN MORRIS:UNSETTLED START TO THE WEEKEND

A nasty cluster of storms is making its way across the southern areas of the North West and Hunter tonight, Fri 22 of Mar.
There will be more wet weather with storm clusters moving across the North West, Hunter and the mid North Coast tomorrow.
It’s all thanks to a passing trough. There are very warm Nor Westerly winds ahead of a moderate southerly change that should get past Coffs Harbour by tomorrow’s end.
It will be a fantastic start to the weekend for the Northern Rivers and South EastQueensland which has endured another showery week.
A trough will slide over the Northern Rivers during Sunday delivering afternoon showers and storms which may reach the Gold Coast by the evening.
There’s a small swell on the coast but seas will be choppy from the gusty nor’easterly ahead of the southerly shift.
