A truck driver was lucky to escape serious injury after the B-Double he was driving veered onto the wrong side of the Pacific Highway near Kew this morning.
It’s understood the man was heading southbound when he crashed through the medium strip, travelling more than 300 metres before coming to a stop near the Northbound Kew exit ramp.
He was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.
One northbound lane was closed for several hours.
