The announcement of a two-stage state government trial to reduce the number of colliers anchored off Newcastle and the Central Coast, has been supported by local dive operator, Les Graham.
He says the trial will help decrease the chance of historic ship sites being destroyed off Terrigal by the ship’s anchors.
