Council has begun dredging works at The Entrance to minimise flood risks this Winter
Central Coast Council has begun dredging works at The Entrance, moving large amounts of sand from the spit to re-nourish the northern foreshores of Karagi Point Reserve.
While the works are largely to protect foreshore infrastructure, it’s also hoped it will mitigate the potential for severe flooding events in Winter.
