A three-year-old boy has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition after being kicked in the head by a horse.
The incident happened at a property on Rollands Plains Road, near Port Macquarie, just after 10am.
The boy suffered head injuries and was flown to Newcastle by the Westpac rescue helicopter.
