19 SUBURBS EVACUATED AS TUGGERAH LAKES RISES

Evacuation orders are in place for low lying areas of Budgewoi and Tuggerah Lakes.

At least 50 people have come to the Evacuation Centre at the Entrance Diggers where they’ll remain until authorities say its safe to return home.

But that could be days away with 19 suburbs across the region warned flood waters will continue to rise
