Below is an unfolding scandal that has the potential to cost lives on the Gold Coast at least, if it hasnt already, and if this is a national policy, then lives are in danger nationally, applying to everyone that the bureaucrats class as “elderly”. People like our Mums and Dads. Please look at the link http://www.politicalguts.com/id50.html and read the .pdf link called SCANDAL AT GOLD COAST PRIVATE HOSPITALS, contact the ministers involved and the hospitals where this practice is a stated policy directive and help me get it changed, so more elderly folks don’t have to die needlessly.

The story in brief is that by accident, a friend has discovered that Pindara and Allamanda Private Hospitals no longer take or accept elderly emergency patients. I have emailed the Federal and State ministers, every local member whose email address I could find, and am pushing it everywhere to overturn this criminal directive.

As you will see from the email below and the attachment, a very serious situation has occurred and it needs urgent attention. I have written to the Federal Health Minister, and Prime Minister as you will see from the attachment, and this will also go to the news services tonight. Please be prepared to answer them, by asking the relevant questions of your Gold Coast Private Hospitals immediately, and please respond also to me, as I have people directly affected by this unbelievable situation!

This email is also being sent to the local South East Queensland State Government Members whose electorates are in the areas potentially affected by this scandalous situation.

Attached is a letter which you will receive a hard copy of in the next week. However, I felt it of such critical urgency that it had to be emailed to you first, as the media will also be wanting the answers I want, on behalf of the elderly folks in our community, right around Australia.

Please respond directly to me, as well as the media responses, as there are people in my community that want to know what http://www.politicalguts.com is doing for them!

You first heard from me on November 25th 2008, and Mr Mark Doverty replied on your behalf. I responded to him on December 6th 2008 and have heard nothing from him since.

However, this is no political ping-pong match, lives are at stake in this situation right now, as outlined in the .pdf attachment. The media will also be wanting to speak with you, a prime reason for emailing this to you in advance of the hardcopy.
