Amateur radio enthusiasts have been tuning in to Port Macquarie’s frequencies this long weekend as they celebrate a milestone.
Coinciding with its annual field day weekend, the Oxley Region club celebrated the centenary of organised amateur radio in Australia.
As well as providing a chance for amateur radio operators to exchange ideas and check out the latest gear, the field day also included hidden transmitter events and social outings.
