Tamworth High school is set to receive a makeover, with $400,000 being pledged by the state government for maintenance.
The money will be spent on repairs and external painting of the school buildings.
It is on top of the $240,000 announced last week to upgrade the school’s stormwater system.
Work is set to begin next month.
