$$$ FLOW TO MOVE STOCK AND FODDER

The state government has extended transport subsidies for drought-affected farmers.

An extra $5.5-million has been allocated to the scheme, where landholders receive a 50 per cent rebate for the transportation of fodder and stock.

The Department of Primary Industries has processed more than 125,000 claims from farmers since the subsidy was introduced.

56 per cent of New South Wales is currently drought affected.
