Boggabri’s historic Grantham Street rail overbridge has finally been demolished.
The move is part of a $63-million upgrade of a rail freight corridor aimed at increasing the capacity of coal, grain and freight trains.
And it’s a major win for the community, who have been lobbying to have a new, safer overpass built.
