A 49-year-old woman has died following a head-on car accident, south of Grafton, yesterday afternoon.
The Eungai Creek woman was the passenger in a north bound Ford Fiesta which crashed into a Holden utility, at Half-way Creek on the Pacific Highway.
She was airlifted to Coffs Harbour Hospital but died a short time later.
The driver of the ute, a 19-year-old man from Bellingen was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
