The New South Wales National Party will nominate a candidate for the seat of Tamworth at the next state election.
It’s follows an agreement made last night between the state Liberal leader Barry O’Farrell and the leader of the Nationals Andrew Stoner.
It’s the earliest Coalition agreement to be signed and prevents a three way race between current independent MP, Peter Draper, a Liberal candidate and a National candidate.
The next state election is scheduled for March, 2011.
