Armidale Mayor Laurie Bishop will be asked to undergo counselling amid allegations of bullying and harassment.
The allegations stem from incidents that occurred within council in early 2014 and were discussed in a closed section of last night’s council meeting.
While it’s unclear whether the mayor is willing to go ahead with the counselling, the process will come at a cost of around $30,000.
