A brazen sunbather drew big crowd at the Cowrie Hole in Newcastle this afternoon.
A fur seal took a break from the water to catch some rays on the beach.
The mammal is believed to have travelled from Bass Straight in search of warm water.
Photographers lined Shortland Esplanade to take happy snaps of the unusual, but, welcome visitor.
People are advised to keep their distance.
