The Central Coast builders have narrowly missed out on a consecutive Surftag title, finishing second in the weekend Industry Challenge at South Curl Curl.
Team leader and former Australian Amateur Champ, Russel Molony, blew his competitors out of the water, scoring an impressive 23 point 2-3 in the final.
The local tradie also posted the highest score of the challenge, with a total of 28 point 1-7 in round one.
But his big waves weren’t enough to topple the retailers, who just edged out the reigning champions with a total of 54 points. (note: vision, no audio)
