The future of Coraki’s Campbell hospital is expected to be decided by October.
This week, the Northern New South Wales Health District began consulting with stakeholders to discuss the types of services locals want in the area.
The community wish list includes a 24 hour Emergency Centre with registered nurses on site.
The 14 bed hospital has been closed since it was damaged in wild weather last Septemeber.
