It’s been a record year of development for Newcastle, with the total number of building approvals topping $1.2-billion.
The building boom includes two new Honeysuckle projects by Doma group approved by State Government earlier this year.
In addition Newcastle City Council has budgeted $100-million for civil works to fix an infrastructure backlog.
