Some of the Hunter’s best young musicians have had a New Year’s Day to remember, performing at the 129th Rose Parade in the United States.
It’s the fourth time the Marching Koalas have taken part in the spectacle at Pasadena.
“Australia’s Marching Koalas. All the way from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.”
Hundreds of thousands of people cheered from the sidelines, with millions more tuning in to watch the parade on TV.
