Organisers will be praying for blue skies at tomorrow’s Ballina Golf Pro Am.
Last year, competitors were forced to put away their clubs just a few hours before finish, after hail wrecked havoc on the annual event.
Around 270 professional and amatuer golfers are expected to travel from all over Australia to compete.
“I think it’s a great opportunity for amateurs to play with professionals in a sport. They can’t do that in tennis or any other sport so it’s really unique in that way”.
