500 STUDENTS GET CREATIVE AT LITFEST IN PORT MACQUARIE

More than 500 students from as far south as Maitland and as far north as Kempsey, were in Port Macquarie today for the annual LitFest.
Now in its third year, the writing festival encourages kids to explore revolutionary ways of telling stories through a range of workshops.
“We have about 30 presenters here today, and they’re working with different mediums as diverse as performance and voice, written words on paper, digitised images and text” – Karen Bale.
