SCHOOL LEAVERS TO HELP REMOTE VILLAGE

Instead of partying at Schoolies Week, a group of Hunter school leavers will travel to Vanuatu to help the people of a particular village.
The students say instead of partying hard, they’d rather make a difference.

More schools should be organising these trips for their students. Avondale School’s Year 12 are heading to Cambodia for the same reason; service to others in less fortunate circumstances.
