A teenager, thrown out of her Catholic high school for dyeing her hair, has vowed to keep her bright red locks.
Phylicity Ward was sent home from St Paul’s at Booragul on the first day of school, and told not to return until she tones down her colourful tresses.
this girl is a disgrace, learn to abid by the school rules. How does her mother think she will cope in the real world of rules if she can’t even cope with simple school rules, that might i add, she signed a contract when starting at the school saying she would. disgrace.
If this girl had a history of being disruptive in class, verbally or physically abusive to her peers or school friends, then I could possibly understand the suspension. But based on the colour of her “Hair” alone, does NOT warrant this kind of action !
I am a grandmother of 5, my eldest is 16 , I for one saw “nothing’ wrong with
the colour of this young girls hair! It fact it was quite pretty !
It is No different than any other young person having their hair bleached or tipped!
Such arcaic Biased findings! and here it is 2010 !
