Newcastle Harbour welcomed another major cruise ship, when the Dawn Princess docked around 7 this morning
Its 2000 passengers were ferried ashore and spent the day in Morpeth, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley.
The visit coincided with an announcement by the state government, that a company had been chosen to carry out a $2.55-million refurbishment of the channel berth at Dyke Point.
