Jack Moyes has made the perfect start in his Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Ironman Series debut at Smiths Beach in Western Australia.
The Terrigal lifesaver is fifth on the leader board, following the opening two rounds.
Also in WA at the weekend; Terrene Black finished second in the Stand Up Paddle division of The Doctor; a 27-kilometre ocean race from Rottnest Island to Sorrento Beach.
NBN journalist Sam Djodan was sixth in the highly competitive under-20 ski event.
