NORTH COAST SURF REPORT 26-03-10

Consistancy has been the name of the game this week.
Day after day of one to one and a half metres waves has all but erased the memories of a summer devoid of swell. Classic Autumn conditions prevailed with early offshores breezes fading away to light afternoon northerlies combined with really warm water temperatures, sounds to good to be true.
Todays pictures were taken at Gallows in Coffs Harbour around lunchtime as the northerly winds were picking up and the swell a consistant one metre plus. Surfers were enjoying some punchy lefthand peaks and racey righthanders as the fishing boats headed for home as the seas were becoming choppy out wide.
The swell is forcast to hang around over the weekend so depending on prevailing winds you should find plenty of good waves on offer.
Cheers, noel.
