WORKERS FALL ILL AT TOXIC HIGHWAY SITE

It’s been confirmed that construction workers on the Pacific Highway upgrade at Port Macquarie have been exposed to toxic chemicals buried following a truck accident in 1980.
Radioactive material and the notorious pesticide DDT were among a load spilt onto the highway, which has now caused vomiting and nausea to workers at the site.
