The region’s two inaugural Local Land Services chairs have been announced by Minister for Primary Industries Katrina Hodgkinson.
Narrabri Shire Council mayor Conrad Bolton will fill the seat for the North West, while the Northern Tablelands role will be taken up by Guyra mayor Hans Hietbrink.
Eleven chairs in total have been appointed across the state.
Ms Hodgkinson says all will need to set priorities that reflect the needs of local farmers and managers, while maintaining a state-wide focus.
