HAVEN FULL OF BEEF EATERS

The riverside hamlet of North Haven, south of Port Macquarie, is staking a claim as the nation’s beef eating capital.
The local bowling club’s Seagulls Brassiere has been named the restaurant of the year by the Certified Australian Angus Beef company.
Customers of the restaurant, run by Brendan Lynch, have consumed 30,000 serves of beef in the past 12 months.
And it’s been dished up in many forms, from steaks, roast beef and stroganoff right through to hamburgers and rissoles.
The brassiere received a giant certificate recognising its achievement.
That’s what we do, well done Gordon
