A boost for organisers of this Sunday’s Fernleigh 15, with Commonwealth Games triathlete Aaron Royle confirming he’ll take part in the race for the first time.
The former under-23 world champion says he’ll use the 15 kilometre event to warm up for the last two major Australian triathlons of the year.
Following the races in Nepean and Noosa, Royle will take a break over Christmas, before resuming his busy schedule in the new year.
The Fernleigh 15 begins at 8am at the Adamstown end of the Fernleigh Track.
