Leslie Mason, the brother of league star Willie Mason, has been convicted of drug possession and fined $1,000 plus court costs.
However, the 31 year old had a drug supply charge withdrawn and dismissed in Newcastle Local Court today.
The professional boxer pleaded guilty to possessing ecstasy.
