A Lake Cathie man died almost instantly when his motorbike left the road and hit a power pole north of Kempsey last night.
Paramedics say the 39-year-old suffered severe head, chest and pelvic injuries in the collision on Smithtown Road at Seven Oaks around 1130.
Police are investigating.
