Grafton residents will stage a rally in the city tomorrow to protest over Telstra’s plans to close its call centre.
Telstra is planning to shut the centre and move the 108 jobs to Brisbane and Melbourne.
Local members of parliament joined forces to take on the telco and have collected thousands of signatures on a petition opposing the closure.
Organisers expect around 1000 people to attend tomorrow’s rally which will be held in Market Square from 10am.
