A toddler rushed to hospital after falling into a backyard pool at Anna Bay, north of Newcastle on Monday has died.
Two-year-old Jason had been on life support since being flown to the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
He passed away early this morning.
The little boy and his family from Queensland had been holidaying with relatives when the accident happened.
