Climate change activists disrupted operations at the Bayswater power station for two hours this morning, after chaining their necks to a conveyer belt carrying coal from Xstrata’s Ravensworth mine.
Police eventually cut through the chains, and charged the two Melbourne men with trespassing.
The activists had been attending a nearby Climate Camp, which culminates in a protest march at the station tomorrow.
