CYCLIST FLOWN TO HOSPITAL AFTER NORTH COAST ACCIDENT

A 65-year-old man has been flown to hospital, after falling from his push bike in the state’s north.
At around 9 o’clock this morning, ambulance crews were called to Piccadilly Hill Road at Cooper’s Shoot, just south of Byron Bay.
It’s understood the man, who was wearing a helmet, suffered head and arm injuries.
He was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
