Police are appealing for information after a passenger aircraft was targeted by a laser light over Lake Macquarie last night.
About 9.15pm, the aircraft was flying north over Lake Macquarie when a green coloured laser was pointed at the aircraft.
The laser tracked the aircraft for ten kilometres before the plane was able to land safely at Williamtown Airport.
It appears as though the laser was emanating from western Lake Macquarie.
