Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who escaped police custody at Coffs Harbour on Saturday.
28-year-old, Corey Brough , escaped from his police cell at around 11am on Saturday after being charged with larceny, assault and intimidation.
He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 154 centimetres tall, of thin build, weighing 77 kilos, with short brown hair.
Police believe Brough may attempt to travel to Sydney.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800, triple-three, triple-zero.
