A 17-year-old girl from Singleton and 15-year-old from Metford were killed, when the overcrowded, speeding car they were passengers in slammed into a tree.

i am so sorry to hear about this i didnt really no the girls but my 2 of my cousins were in the car crash. its a heartbreaking disaster no one deserved to die i feel for alanas and stephanies family R.I.P gorgeous girls i will miss you heaps and i bet every one will. no one Knows how hard it is to loose family untill it happens and unfortanantly it has, i really do give all my heart and soul to these two young girls! heaven is a good place but no were is better than with family, i pray for you girls. no one intentionally ment to harm yous. i will miss yous heaps. i no yous will look over us and smile for doing the right thing by law, i love yous girls. i bet the boys who were in the crash feel for yous and will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.

I arrived at the scene not long after it happened as I drove home from work. I assisted as much as I could at the time and stayed with the young girl until the ambulance arrived. I am struggling to come to terms with what I saw and how young people feel they are invincible.
At the cost of these 2 girls, I hope it is a lesson for other young people to please slow down and be careful!
My heart goes out to the families of all involved. Their lives will never be the same, as will mine.
