BROTHERS GUNNED DOWN IN NEIGHBOURHOOD DISPUTE

Two men have been shot dead in the street outside a house in Mayfield.
Just after six oclock on Sunday evening, residents reported hearing three gunshots and found the bodies of Luke Willis 29 and Sam Willis 22, lying on the grass outside a house in Windeyer Street.
Investigations continued through the night and initial indications are the shootings were the result of a long running dispute among neighbours.
A 53 year old man from Mayfield attended Belmont police station earlier today and is assisting police with their inquiries.

i am very sad that my teach Mr Willis has died at the age of 29. He was the best teacher you could probably ever have. We class of six W had sooo much fun with him by makeing movies and playing fun games and teaching us games. it is really sad and our class was crying and really sad because he wont be able to see the finished movies!!!!!!!! We only finished filming on Friday we are yet to edit them.
I was most upset on Monday night 28/6/10 whilst watching the NBN news. The story of the two murdered men in Mayfield came on and the vision of one of the deceased bodies lying on the front lawn was most distressing. Not neccessary NBN.
Mr willis didnt deserve to die, he was a funny Teacher, I lovesed him heaps, even know i am in a diffrent class in year 6, he was the best teacher ever, he made everyone laugh, HE DIDNT DESERVE it and eathier did his Brother RIP Mr willis. x, Naaww rheannon How sad is it:(
It is a tragedy what happened to these two brothers , but if the dispute was over noise , I can see why some people crack . I have the misfortune of living next to a bloke who doesnot care less about his neighbours . When he decided to renovate his home himself , he used power saws , floor sanders , nail guns into the early hours of the morning for weeks , when we would approach him politley about the noise , he would verbally abuse us , We called the Police , but noise complaints are on the low priority for response . In addition to his building nosie , he would come home drunk from the local pub in the early hours an put on his stereo full volume , as well as flush his large outboard motor at 2am.
What happened was an extreme outcome , but maybe we all need to be considerate of others
i’m truly shocked by what has happened, and i feel there is obviously two sides to a story, however looking at that smug smile on the accused son’s face whilst leaving the court today drives it home that there are certain types of people that are nothing more than typical trash, and as the truth becomes clear and apparent i hope justice is dealt to this mindless monster to the full extent and that his lies come back to hang him!!
I agree Lisa and i know people who live in the surrounding streets, the Oracle post above had way more reason to want to hurt their neighbours (not that anyone should do that) than what this crazy man did, from the comments from everybody else they were lovely boys that not one other neighbour had a problem with, we have personally witnessed his anger over something as simple as someone parking too close to his driveway, whatever his issues were they were all in his head and he deserves everything he gets!!
I feel for the family of the two boys shot, they were caring thoughtful young men who had a bit of fun every now and then, how is that any different to most nieghbours!!!!!
The family should hold their heads up high and be proud of their sons and the lives they touched.
