Dozens of boxes full of new and used footy boots are bound for Buenos Aires, after Newcastle-based rugby club, Merewether Carlton, took up a collection.
20 team members are heading overseas next week to compete in the San Fernando Rugby Sevens.
During their stay, they’ll hand out the boots to children at a local orphanage, and have gathered more than 350 pairs.
