This year’s Newcastle Regional Show will play an important role in addressing the Hunter’s skills shortage, by hosting Skills on Show.
The event was launched at the Broadmeadow Exhibition Centre today, and aims to showcase the trades needed in the region over the next decade.
It will give students a chance to try a trade and talk to educational institutions and companies about future careers.
