Almost 100 people started their engines at EnergyAustralia Stadium today to show their support for Newcastle radio personality, John Williams.
Cars cruised the streets to raise much-needed funds for the 33-year-old, also known as Blind Melon, who’s battling Motor Neurone Disease.
“His mum and sister both gave up their full time jobs to look after him full time, so they are effectively acting as his full time carers.”
The event raised almost $2,000.
