Following the success of last weekend’s under 18s Country Rugby League Championships,
Wingham hopes to host the competition again next year.
The club has already put forward an informal bid to event officials, who have praised the club and town.
While the offer will be considered, Country Rugby League prefers to move the championship location each year.
Formal applications to host the event will be made in November.
