COUPLE FACE COURT OVER HANKEY MURDER

A man and woman from East Gosford have faced the New South Wales Supreme Court today charged with the 2007 stabbing murder of Bateau Bay surfer Luke Hankey.
David Martin pleaded not guilty to murdering the 24-year-old, who was found in the car park of the Bateau Bay Hotel with stab wounds and pronounced dead on arrival at Gosford Hospital.
Lisa Clare Mackett also pleaded not guilty to being an accessory after the fact to murder and to two counts of assault.
They’ll be back in court on June 13.
