This year marks a decade of Manilla’s annual breast cancer awareness campaign.
‘Manilla in the Pink’ began in 2005 with a small breakfast, it then stretched to a week-long event, but now it’s carried out for the entire month of October.
Council staff will swap their uniform for pink workwear to celebrate the milestone.
In the lead up to Pink Ribbon Day, the Manilla Matters Committee will host a fundraiser outside council on Wednesday October 21.
