A Umina Beach man has been recaptured after escaping police custody almost a fortnight ago.
The 19 year old was arrested on West Street in relation to an outstanding warrant, but police say he ran away while he was handcuffed.
He was located and arrested yesterday in Sydney.
He’s facing charges including having two outstanding warrants, escaping lawful custody and larceny.
