Lennox Head surfer Adam Melling has taken out the Cold Water Classic event in New Zealand today.
While Coffs Harbour surfer Heath Joske put in an impressive performance before getting knocked out at the weekend.
Joske progressed through to round four, after winning one of his heats and finishing second in another.
He finished the WQS event as the highest placed Coffs surfer, in 17th overall.
Joske and fellow Coffs Harbour surfer Jayke Sharpe will now head to Margaret River in Western Australia for an ASP World Tour Prime Series event
