South African bodyboarder, Mark McCarthy, will head to Brazil for the next event on the World Tour, after taking out the Soldiers Beach Pro.
In perfect one-metre conditions, McCarthy defeated Queensland’s Jake Stone and Port Macquarie teenager Sam Bennett.
